where have you been?
i know i have always been looking for you
but never in my wildest thoughts could think
that you could exist for real, 
and be so true, 
I saw you somewhere in my dreams 
never knew you were there, somewhere 
confiding and praying
to make all my sins redeem

 

 

 

I sat by the water,
thinking how this could be real,
and if you do exist,
I am far away from where you are
thinking and thinking i realized
there's no way I can be more surprized

 

 

 

So I sat there by the water
writing you letters,
a box of letters,
one for each day of the year,

 

 

 

one for the day when you are sad,
just to get you through the day
one for the day when you are happy,
so you could just remember me that way

 

 

 

one for a reason,
several of 'em, without any

 

 

 

i don't know how to repay you
if for nothing else
simply for the fact that you exist

 

 

 

so I sat by the water and wrote you letters
you can read each one of them
on each day of life
to know that someone cherishes you
and always have that one reason to smile :)
